Elite Sport Mare Darona (Johnson x El Corona) was in foal to Totilas. Unfortunately she got a heavy colic and after a few days clinic she happily restored again.
Unfortunately she lost the foal a week later. Because the mare was still recovering from the colic we considered the option embryo transplant.
On August 20 an embryo was found and it was transferred into a bearing mare. Last week there was a throbbing heart to see on the echo.
We hope that everything goes well, the expected foal date is July 17, 2019.
