In 2011 we, René and Aileen Breman, bought this beautiful spot on the Nieuwe Wetering in Mastenbroek.
In the years that followed, we gradually converted it from a cow barn into a horse stable. The stable building is an old potato barn that was moved from North Holland to Mastenbroek in the 1960s. We renovated it thoroughly, so it will last for many years to come.
We breed from the mare: a small, select mare base with proven bloodlines and results of their own. Stal de Nieuwe Wetering started breeding in 2011, and our first foals were born in 2012. Since 2017 we have focused exclusively on dressage.
Our foals are registered with the KWPN; we breed mostly with KWPN-approved stallions.
The foundation of our breeding is elite mare Havidella (Vivaldi x Sandro Hit) with her daughters Majesteit SNW and Nouvelle SNW, together with Olympéa SNW (Totilas x Darona).

The foundation of our breeding. Havidella is by the preferent stallion Vivaldi out of Update (Sandro Hit x Rohdiamant), herself PROK, preferent and prestatie. Havidella was awarded ster, became provisionally keur and passed her EPTM dressage test with 82 points, earning elite status.
